About me

Frontend roots. Full-stack by necessity — and now by choice.

I started as a frontend developer, then followed the problems wherever they led — into APIs, databases, mobile apps, servers and live video pipelines.

Today I own features across the whole stack. For a team, that means fewer hand-offs, faster delivery and nobody saying “that’s the other side’s problem.” For a client, it means one person who can take an idea all the way to a deployed, working product.

I do my best work on products with real users and real business rules — community platforms, point-of-sale systems, e-commerce and streaming infrastructure. I care about practical architecture, typed and maintainable code, and clear communication with engineers and non-technical stakeholders alike.

Ponleu APP

A Khmer-first SaaS for running a shop — sales, stock, invoices, customer debt and KHQR payments in one app, on phone, tablet or desktop. It’s the platform where most of my new features and modules now land.

Challenge
Shops, wholesalers and Facebook / Telegram sellers in Cambodia juggle notebooks, two currencies and patchy internet — and lose money to forgotten debts, invisible stock and unknown margins.
What I built
A modular platform built as add-ons: POS, Stock, Online Store, Digital Menu and Customer Portal — with USD + KHR, KHQR on every invoice, Telegram delivery and offline selling. More modules are in consideration.

HR Community Platform

A community platform for HR professionals with a cross-platform mobile app, a web admin dashboard and a shared REST API.

Challenge
Serve two very different audiences — members on their phones and administrators managing users, content and activity — from one consistent backend.
What I built
A Laravel API and MySQL data model powering a Flutter app for members and a Vue dashboard for moderation, user management and community workflows.

Mobile shopping experiences built around what customers actually care about: finding products and checking out without friction.

Challenge
Keep browsing, cart and checkout smooth on mobile while staying in sync with products, pricing and orders on the server.

04Media infrastructureNow a product

Real-time Video Streaming

Live video infrastructure for broadcasting and playback — ingesting, relaying and delivering streams to viewers in real time. I’ve since turned it into a product I sell: MediaXT.

Challenge
Balance latency, reliability and compatibility: some viewers need sub-second WebRTC, others need HLS that plays everywhere — and every stream has to be secured.
What I built
Pipelines with RTMP / WebRTC ingest, SRS, Ant Media Server and MediaMTX for relay and packaging, and HLS / WebRTC playback in the browser — then productized as MediaXT, a self-hosted control plane for MediaMTX.

Lessons learned the hard way

    The best architecture is the one the next developer can understand.

  • Users don’t care about your framework.

    They care whether the button works.

  • Production is the real teacher.

    Tutorials teach how things work. Production teaches why they break.

  • Don’t over-engineer it.

    If a simple solution works, you don’t need 14 microservices.
